The command to love is one of the most difficult commands of Scripture. However it is one of the most important. We are called to demonstrate our commitment to Christ by loving one another. We are called to demonstrate that we follow God by loving our enemies. The Father loved us while we were yet his enemies, so we too must love even our enemies.
